OSHA 10
From electrical cables to towering scaffolds, there’s no room for guessing in construction safety. That’s where OSHA 10 comes in. Here are five reasons why every construction worker needs OSHA 10 training:
1️⃣ Stay on the Right Side of the Law: OSHA 10 keeps you up-to-date with industry standards, so you’re always in compliance and ready to work on government and commercial projects.
2️⃣ Reduce Accidents and Injuries: Learn to identify hazards, from faulty wiring to silica dust, and make your site a safer place.
3️⃣ Build Confidence in Handling Risks: OSHA 10 gives you the quick judgment needed to handle potentially dangerous situations.
4️⃣ Boost Your Career: Certifications matter. OSHA 10 sets you apart for promotions and new opportunities.
5️⃣ Promote a Safety-First Worksite Culture: Safety becomes second nature when everyone’s trained, which means fewer accidents and a stronger team.
When you’re OSHA 10 certified, you’re not just showing up to work — you’re prepared to protect yourself and others. JLN provides training that covers a variety of construction industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter. Per OSHA’s instruction, this training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Instructional time must be a minimum of 10 hours. Where applicable JLN will engage the class with hands-on exercises to reinforce the classroom teachings.
